For FFA Members
If you’re looking to begin your career immediately following your high school graduation or soon after, this program is a great fit for you! Through Ohio FFA Works, you’ll be applying for multiple employment opportunities with just one application.
About the Process
After creating or updating your resume and cover letter, fill out the online application between January 1, 2026 and March 15, 2026. Be sure to select all the counties you’re willing to work in – the more counties you select, the more employment opportunities you’ll be opening yourself up to. (Think about where you’ll be living and where you can drive.)
After you apply, be sure to remind your FFA advisor to fill out the advisor recommendation form online. They will receive this in their email inbox.
As early as March 23, 2026, you may begin to hear directly from the companies that would like to interview you. Since they’ll be contacting you, be sure to answer your phone and have a professional and appropriate voicemail set up. Also, make sure you’re checking your email regularly, including your spam folder. Unfortunately, we can’t promise that every member who applies will receive an interview.
If you are offered and accept a position, you’ll be recognized on stage at the Ohio FFA Convention. Then, you’ll work directly with your new employer to figure out additional logistics about your new job.

Graduating or graduated current, dues-paying Ohio FFA members are eligible to apply. Active and current Ohio FFA members who are ready to get to work after high school should apply. Participating companies are looking for dependable employees with a strong work ethic and who are interested in continuing to learn more about agriculture.

Once the application is submitted, your agricultural educator will receive an email with information on how to complete the recommendation form.

Yes! Sunrise Cooperative is a participating partner of Ohio FFA Works and the RISE FFA Career Program is still an available option. Plus, one student hired by Sunrise Cooperative will once again win a truck as a signing bonus this spring. Use the Ohio FFA Works online application to apply for the RISE FFA Career Program.
