Changes for the 2026-2027 School Year

No Ohio FFA Works application.

To better meet the needs of employers and students, FFA members and employers should connect directly to proceed with the next steps of each individual employer’s application, interview, and hiring processes. This will allow employers to fill positions faster and students get hired sooner.

More types of positions offered.

Whether it’s an internship or part-time, seasonal, or full-time employment, Ohio FFA Works can now offer more types of employment opportunities in agriculture for members 14 and up to get to work and gain experience. Please keep in mind that each employer may have different age requirements and there may not be positions available for all ages.

More members can benefit.

Ohio FFA Works is no longer just for graduating and recently graduated FFA members. Starting during the 2026-2027 school year, any Ohio FFA member 14 and up is eligible to reach out to an employer listed on the Ohio FFA Works website. Please keep in mind that each employer may have different age requirements and there may not be positions available for all ages.

A new, more flexible program timeline.

Looking for a job in the winter? Need a temporary job after school’s out for the summer? Want to kickstart your career immediately after graduation? Ohio FFA Works can now offer more opportunities throughout the year. Opportunities are dependent on participating employers. Please be aware that some employers’ hiring timelines will be more flexible than others.
