Ohio FFA Works is a great way to connect graduating and recently graduated FFA members with opportunities for full-time employment. With just one application, students will be applying for multiple employment opportunities.

Ways to Promote Ohio FFA Works in Your Classroom

Please share this opportunity with your senior FFA members and any recent grads who are still current, dues-paying FFA members. If you’re interested in having guest speakers, please contact the Ohio FFA Works partners offering employment opportunities near you. Many of them would be glad to come visit with your students. Students can begin applying January 1, 2026 and no later than March 15, 2026.

After your student applies, you’ll receive an email with a simple evaluation form about your student. Please complete this form by March 17, 2026. Click here to see an example of the questions that you will be asked.

Student Recognition 

All students hired by an Ohio FFA Works partner will be recognized on-stage during the Ohio FFA Convention. More information will be shared as the convention approaches. 

FFA Chapter Support

For every student hired, their home chapter will receive $500 to help it to continue to invest in the next generation of talented employees. The placement fee will be paid by Ohio FFA Works partners six months after the student begins working. The Ohio FFA Foundation will award the funds to FFA Chapters shortly after.

  • Graduating or graduated current, dues-paying Ohio FFA members are eligible to apply. Active and current Ohio FFA members who are ready to get to work after high school should apply. Participating companies are looking for dependable employees with a strong work ethic and who are interested in continuing to learn more about agriculture.

  • Multiple full-time positions are available across Ohio. Visit each Ohio FFA Works company partner’s page for more information.

  • Jan. 1, 2026 - FFA member application opens

    March 15, 2026 - FFA member application deadline

    March 23 - April 15, 2026 - Companies interview and extend offers as they see fit

    May 2026 - Hired students recognized at the Ohio FFA Convention

  • Click here or select the “Apply” button in the main menu. After writing a cover letter and resume, apply through the online application between Jan. 1-March 15, 2026. Once the application is submitted, your agricultural educator will receive an email with information on how to complete the recommendation form.

  • Yes! Sunrise Cooperative is a participating partner of Ohio FFA Works and the RISE FFA Career Program is still an available option. Plus, one student hired by Sunrise Cooperative will once again win a truck as a signing bonus this spring. Use the Ohio FFA Works online application to apply for the RISE FFA Career Program.

  • This year, Ohio FFA Works company partners are offering available positions in many counties across the state. If location is not a limiting factor for you, there are plenty of potential positions available.

  • An interview is your chance to show a potential employer why they should hire you. Take some time to practice interview questions in advance. See our tips for success here.
