Feed Mill Associate
This full-time position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, palletizers, and packing equipment to support production and shipping activities. This role maintains accurate records, verifies product quality, and ensures a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Additional responsibilities include unloading trucks, supplying production materials, and assisting with training as needed.

Abide by all safety regulations to ensure the safety of oneself, coworkers, and customers
Attentively keep accurate packing records
Maintain inventory of empty pallets, stretch film, and netting
Operate a forklift from the palletizer to loading and within the warehouse
Operate a palletizer, stretch wrapper, and forklift for the packing line
Participate in an open line of communication between your supervisor and coworkers regarding any shortages in shipping orders.
Represent company values while training incoming employees
Strive to keep your work area clean and organized
Supply production with pallets, bags, and pallet sheets
Unload trucks and verify items with the manifest
Verify date code and product description prior to loading
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record
Forklift Certified
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous Feed Experience

Willingness to learn

Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
Willingness to work in various weather elements, including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc
Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
Respectable Mechanical Skills
