Feed Mill Associate

This full-time position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, palletizers, and packing equipment to support production and shipping activities. This role maintains accurate records, verifies product quality, and ensures a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Additional responsibilities include unloading trucks, supplying production materials, and assisting with training as needed.

Employment Locations by County: Mahoning, Licking

    • Abide by all safety regulations to ensure the safety of oneself, coworkers, and customers

    • Attentively keep accurate packing records

    • Maintain inventory of empty pallets, stretch film, and netting

    • Operate a forklift from the palletizer to loading and within the warehouse

    • Operate a palletizer, stretch wrapper, and forklift for the packing line

    • Participate in an open line of communication between your supervisor and coworkers regarding any shortages in shipping orders.

    • Represent company values while training incoming employees 

    • Strive to keep your work area clean and organized

    • Supply production with pallets, bags, and pallet sheets

    • Unload trucks and verify items with the manifest

    • Verify date code and product description prior to loading

    • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

    • Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record

    • Forklift Certified

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • Previous Feed Experience

    • Positive Mindset

    • Willingness to learn

    • Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time

    • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds

    • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed

    • Willingness to work in various weather elements, including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc

    • Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills

    • Excellent Communication Skills

    • Respectable Mechanical Skills
